Tenuta Massidda - Santa Teresa Gallura
Immersed in the beautiful countryside behind Santa Teresa di Gallura, surrounded by the scent and the colors of wilde olive, holm oaks, junipers, stands Villa Massidda: a wonderful estate that, in every stone laid, reflects the love of its owners for this corner of paradise.
Almost hidden and concealed by a natural path of Mediterranean maquis, the villa is accessible from a granite staircase surrounded by indigenous essences and from a second service access.
The Main Villa
The central body of the house consists of a cozy living area composed of a large living and dining room. The spaces have been thought, designed and constructed to allow a spectacular panoramic view of the Archipelago de La Maddalena, the Bocche di Bonifacio and the Corsican Islands.
This living area is the lively part of the house, characterized by a warm and convivial atmosphere made even more enjoyable by a large dining table for twelve people, elegant armchairs where you can relax while contemplating the panorama and a wood-burning fireplace covered with stone.
From the dining area you can access the kitchen and the very nice veranda where there is a comfortable table for six people, ideal for entertaining with guests during the beautiful season or the placid summer evenings.
The sleeping area of the main house consists of two bedrooms, both with en suite bathroom, to ensure maximum comfort and absolute privacy; the second master bedroom is built as a small tower that stands on the sea with a large terrace and enjoys spectacular views of the islands and the coast.
On the ground floor there is a guest bathroom, while in the basement has been built a service bedroom, with private bathroom, laundry room and pantry.
An additional support laundry was built on the outside and on the back of the house, as well as a further covered veranda to give vent to the kitchen and home service operations.
To accomodate guests and friends it could not miss a dépendance with two independent bedrooms, each with ample ensuite bathroom and terrace. The dépendance is connected to the villa through a granite path surrounded by blue plumbago, rosemary, corbezzoli, polygolas and callistemon that reconnects to the house in front of a large terrace.
Outdoor living, terrace and pool
The life en plein air is guaranteed by comfortable outdoor living areas that are the real estate flagship. Not far from the central body of the house, we find a spacious and cozy terrace, designed for summer dinners, including a second perfectly independent kitchen, separated from the dining area by a characteristic solid chestnut table with masonry seats and cushions.
The spatial continuum between interior and exterior is ensured by the seamless passage between environments that guarantees total immersion and contact with nature.
Another ideal place for relaxing moments in the open air is the infinity pool designed to be the beating heart of the entire property, surrounded by the green lawn and featuring spectacular 360 ° views of the surrounding paradise.
A large covered car park supported by two fantastic monoliths complete the property.
All the stone masonry elements were entirely hand chiseled, giving an image of great authenticity and craftsmanship and further facilitating the insertion of the house into the natural context.
Some technical notes: all bedrooms are equipped with heat pumps and air conditioners, and the living room fireplace has solenoid valves to emit hot air during cold periods.
The house includes a cellar compartment, technical room with pumps and compensation tank for the pool water.
